About Dr. Istvan Gorgenyi
World champion, Olympic silver medallist and Olympic gold medal winning coach, Dr Gorgenyi is a professional coach and group and family therapist with a unique understanding of getting the best performance out of teams. His theory on group dynamics and performance, Hunting Territory® is the culmination of a life's work building peak performing teams. He has successfully implemented the coaching and management applications of his theory across cultural, language, professional and sporting environments for three decades.
A published author and highly experienced workshop presenter, Dr Gorgenyi regularly holds workshops for corporate and sporting bodies. Focusing on the practical side of achieving optimal team performance, his workshops have been extremely well received by businesses, institutions and sports groups alike. Additionally Dr Gorgenyi is a regular presenter at the Melbourne Business School Mt Eliza Centre for Executive Education.
In addition to his sporting achievements, Dr. Gorgenyi worked for 12 years in psychiatric clinics as a social worker, group and family therapist in Hungary.
